ABOUT THE ROLE
Careerscape is hiring a Remote Typist to create and maintain accurate digital documents from written, printed, or audio sources. This is a steady, focused remote role for someone who types quickly and values accuracy.
COMPENSATION
$36,000 to $48,000 per year, based on experience. Full-time, fully remote (United States).
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Transcribe audio and video recordings into accurate digital documents.
- Convert printed or handwritten materials into digital formats.
- Proofread and edit documents for grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security standards.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
NICE TO HAVE
- Previous experience in transcription or data entry.
- Familiarity with specialized transcription software.
- Strong command of English grammar and spelling.
