About the Role

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Data Engineer 2 to join their team. This is a remote position open to candidates in the USA. The role focuses on creating scalable data processing architectures and solutions to transform data into actionable insights, ultimately enhancing service delivery for members.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable data processing architectures and solutions for efficient transformation of structured and unstructured data into enterprise-wide insights.
  • Ingest data from internal and external sources using cloud-native platforms, adhering to industry-standard software development practices.
  • Create tools and solutions using AI, machine learning, and big data techniques for data cleansing, organization, and transformation.
  • Contribute to departmental strategy and make technical decisions for complex project components, with significant autonomy in setting goals and methods.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in data analysis or engineering.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Experience analyzing complex data sets and performing root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to inform and drive business outcomes and decisions.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering) is a plus.
  • Experience with Snowflake Cloud.
  • Experience within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with the dbt (data build tool) framework.
