Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Assistant Chief Financial Officer (ACFO) to join our leadership team and drive financial excellence across our organization. Duties
- Assist the Chief Financial Officer in developing and implementing comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP, IFRS, IAS, and ASC 606 standards for revenue recognition.
- Lead risk analysis efforts, including SOX compliance, COSO framework implementation, and risk mitigation strategies across all financial operations.
- Manage treasury activities such as cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships to optimize financial resources.
- Supervise financial reporting processes, including preparation of accurate financial statements, regulatory reports, and management reports for senior leadership and board review.
- Oversee budgeting, expense management, cost control initiatives, and financial forecasting to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
- Drive revenue management strategies, including revenue cycle management and analysis of profit & loss statements to maximize profitability.
- Support mergers & acquisitions activities through due diligence, valuation analysis, integration planning, and negotiation support.
- Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards for non-profit organizations when applicable.
- Lead business analysis efforts by interpreting financial data to inform decision-making, identify opportunities for growth, and mitigate risks.
Experience
- Proven experience in senior financial management roles within complex organizations or non-profit sectors.
- Extensive knowledge of corporate finance principles, including fiscal management, cost accounting, supply chain finance, and tax accounting.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing financial software systems and advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS, SOX requirements, and ASC 606 standards.
- Experience supervising teams in accounting functions such as payroll management, technical accounting, cost management, and financial report writing.
- Skilled in negotiation, business development strategies, and stakeholder engagement at senior leadership levels.
- Ability to lead strategic planning initiatives with a focus on risk management, market analysis, and long-term fiscal sustainability.
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to interpret complex financial concepts clearly for diverse audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
