Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to promote growth and stability.
- Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and corporate finance activities.
- Lead budgeting processes, forecasting efforts, and financial analysis to inform strategic planning and operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), governmental accounting standards, and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) regulations.
- Manage risk assessment procedures and implement effective risk mitigation strategies across financial operations.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, profit & loss statements, and other key documentation for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Drive business development initiatives by analyzing financial services opportunities and supporting sales strategies through sound financial concepts.
- Supervise finance team members, fostering leadership development and organizational skills to enhance team performance.
- Utilize advanced financial software to streamline processes, improve accuracy in general ledger accounting, and facilitate account reconciliation efforts.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, organizational growth initiatives, and corporate finance projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial sales, negotiation, and business development within a complex organizational environment.
- Extensive knowledge of non-profit accounting, governmental accounting standards, and technical accounting practices.
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, forecasting techniques, budgeting processes, and risk management frameworks.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams effectively while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- In-depth understanding of GAAP regulations, SOX compliance requirements, and public accounting practices.
- Proficiency with financial software systems; experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for clear financial report writing and stakeholder engagement.
- Strategic thinker with strong management acumen who can translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights.

- Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
