About the Role
Civitas Learning is seeking a confident and professional PeopleSoft Engineer to join our Customer Support team. In this role, you will be the primary technical expert, ensuring seamless interoperability and data flow between our software and our customers' PeopleSoft ecosystems. You will diagnose complex connectivity issues within PeopleSoft HCM and Campus Solutions environments to support our software's success.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the lead technical point of contact for resolving synchronization and connectivity issues between our software and PeopleSoft.
- Analyze customer-specific PeopleSoft components, including Integration Broker, PeopleCode, and Application Engine, to troubleshoot data transfer problems.
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft development experience.
- Proven experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules, in addition to HCM or Financials.
- Experience in Agile environments, utilizing tools like Jira for task management.
- Proficiency with Oracle databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft Fluid UI and integrating PeopleSoft with third-party systems via APIs.
Technical Skills
- PeopleSoft Development: PeopleCode, Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and Component Interfaces.
- Functional Knowledge: Familiarity with Campus Solutions (CS), HCM, or FSCM business processes.
- Databases: Oracle databases and SQL script optimization.
- PeopleSoft Maintenance: PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and Change Assistant.

Important Notes on Role Structure
This position begins on a Part-Time basis, with the goal of transitioning to a Full-Time role (40 hours per week) after successful project completion. We are looking for a candidate with the immediate capacity and long-term desire to grow into a full-time position.
- Part-time hours will be paid at a pro-rata rate of the full-time base.
- Upon successful transition, the salary will move to the full-time range of $50,000 - $60,000 per year.
Location: Remote - US Salary Range: $100,000 - $200,000 USD (This range appears to reflect the full-time potential, not the initial part-time rate)
