The Opportunity
Most organizations can build AI pilots; far fewer can scale AI into production with trust and provable ROI. That gap is our market --- and it is wide open. As Sales Executive (Director), you'll own enterprise relationships end to end across Retail, Manufacturing, and Healthcare.
What You'll Do
- Own the full sales cycle --- prospecting through close --- for enterprise data and AI transformation engagements.
- Lead consultative, persona-based conversations with CEOs, CIOs/CTOs, CDOs, CFOs, CISOs, and COOs.
- Run the land-and-expand motion: open with an AI Readiness Assessment, prove value fast, grow into multi-workstream programs.
- Build and manage pipeline across Retail, Manufacturing, and Healthcare.
- Quarterback the deal team: shape proposals, SOWs, and RFP responses with solution architects and delivery leads.
- Sell outcomes --- ROI, spend reduction, margin, time-to-insight, hallucination rate.
- Feed buyer intel back into GTM positioning and partner ecosystem strategy.
What You'll Be Selling
- Data Foundation: governance, quality, lineage, access controls, reusable data products.
- AI & Intelligent Systems: production-grade AI, agents, evaluation, observability, responsible-AI guardrails.
- Enterprise Architecture: living, executable architecture that drives modernization and cost reduction.
- Ontologies as a Service: domain ontologies via Onto66 for AI that reasons over real enterprise meaning.
- Advisory Consulting: AI-enabled playbooks to recover stalled programs and deliver ROI.
- AI Governance: trusted data, controls, lineage, and observability that scale safely.
What You Bring (Required)
- 10+ years enterprise B2B sales at Director or senior IC level --- data, analytics, cloud, AI, or tech consulting / SI.
- Proven quota performance: $5M--$10M+ annual bookings quota met or exceeded; pipeline in excess of $50M.
- Deep industry knowledge in at least 2 of: Retail, Manufacturing, or Healthcare.
- Consultative selling DNA --- lead with customer problems, build executive trust.
- Working fluency in data platforms, governance, semantic layers, knowledge graphs / RAG, and agents.
- Operator's mindset --- customer-first, high ownership, comfortable in a fast-moving small team.
- Based on the U.S. East Coast or Midwest.
Nice to Have
- Established executive relationships in Retail, Manufacturing, or Healthcare you can activate from day one.
- Experience selling alongside hyperscaler or platform partners.
- Background blending consulting / pre-sales with a closing role.
- Familiarity with FinOps / cost-takeout and governance / compliance-driven buying.
