Summary
The Engagement Manager collaborates with communities, Participants, and internal team members to sell Contexture's products and services. You will develop relationships with Participants to demonstrate our value proposition and secure new contracts. This role involves managing activities related to building and maintaining positive Participant relationships, account management, coordinating service delivery, and analyzing clinical processes. You will cultivate prospects to fill sales pipelines and assist in securing legal documentation for HIE Participants.
This position is based in Denver, Colorado, with strategic flexibility for local work-from-home opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sign up Participants to implement health information exchange (HIE) services.
- Meet sales goals determined by the Director of Development & Engagement.
- Qualify leads from digital campaigns, conferences, and referrals.
- Manage and report on lead development using business applications.
- Create presentations and collaborate with marketing to define messaging.
- Demonstrate HIE applications in small and large group settings.
- Communicate the business, technical, and financial benefits of services.
- Explain fee schedules, provide quotes, and assist finance with invoicing and account balances.
- Collaborate to define deliverables, statements of work, and vendor integration specs.
- Manage contract life-cycles, including drafting agreements and managing negotiations.
- Maintain accurate information in business applications.
- Resolve issues promptly through troubleshooting.
- Maintain high-touch engagement with priority Participants.
- Participate in defining product enhancements and growth strategies.
- Attend conferences and partner events.
Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of the HIE landscape, HIT, and policy.

- Experience working with senior-level executives.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High energy, positive attitude, and attention to detail.
- Strong critical analysis and strategic planning capabilities.
- Proven track record in managing a sales funnel and closing contracts.
- Working knowledge of clinical practice processes and workflows.
- Experience with CRM systems and EHR software (a plus).
- Valid driver's license.
Education and Experience
- Minimum Experience: 3+ years of consultative sales or consulting experience with payers/life insurance groups, preferably in healthcare IT or with a clinical background.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Information Systems, or related discipline required. MBA preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This position requires occasional after-hours work and limited travel. You will handle sensitive information, including PHI and PII, requiring strict compliance with all laws and organizational policies. Physical requirements include frequent communication, computer use, and the ability to handle materials up to 30 lbs.
