Posting Title: BIM Manager

Reports To: Senior BIM Manager

Location: San Jose, CA | Remote

Salary Range: $135,000 to $178,000

  • This position is eligible for the annual performance bonus plan.

The BIM Team

Our Building Information Modeling (BIM) team is at the forefront of construction technology, delivering exceptional value through advanced 3D modeling and coordination. We maximize construction efficiency by creating detailed virtual representations of projects before construction begins, allowing us to identify conflicts early and implement solutions with minimal impact on timelines and budgets.

About The Role

Leads the delivery of BIM services on assigned projects and owns assigned department initiatives. This position carries full-scope responsibility for all assigned project work and departmental initiatives.

  • Own and lead BIM execution for assigned projects, including BIM execution plans, schedules, model coordination, and deliverables.
  • Assign, direct, and coach assigned BIM staff (BIM Project Managers, BIM Coordinators, BIM Operators); balance workload and priorities.
  • Maintain and improve BIM standards and procedures.
  • Report status, risks, decisions, and required actions to project stakeholders.
  • Deliver assigned department initiatives (standards, training, tools, cross-functional workflows) to defined objectives and timelines.
  • Resolve BIM issues affecting scope, quality, or coordination; escalate per decision rights

About You

  • Working expertise in model authoring, trade coordination, and sheet production
  • Proficiency with core BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360/ ACC)
  • Proficiency with project management tool (MS Project, MS Planner, Clickup, etc.)
  • Ability to plan work, allocate resources, and maintain schedules
  • Clear communication with project teams, field, and external partners

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that, in the sole judgment and discretion of Company, would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications may qualify.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; College education in related field preferred

Licensure/Certifications: None required

Experience: 5+ years in electrical construction industry with progressive BIM experience

Work Location: Remote - work from home reporting to team members as needed. Occasional travel.
