DevOps Engineer (Contract, Remote - AZ Local)

Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer (AWS) on a contract basis. This is a fully remote role, but candidates must be local to AZ.

Overview:

The DevOps Engineer will serve as a key technical resource supporting all phases of the DevOps and application development lifecycle. This role will focus heavily on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipeline optimization, cloud automation, and deployment strategy.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineering role
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code for mission-critical applications
• Must have 3+ years of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and support

Hands-on experience with the following technologies:

• Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudFront
• Docker and Serverless Framework
• GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Terraform Cloud
• Linux and Bash scripting
• YAML
• Python and/or Node.js
