Lead MDM Data Engineer - REMOTE

Job Description

An employer is seeking a hands-on Lead MDM Data Engineer to join their team as remote workers. He or she will be joining a scrum team supporting internal data infrastructure that is responsible for managing and maintaining the internal Customer 360 (C360) platform - an internal tool used exclusively by employees. The platform centralizes and unifies internal data, and this team ensures that data is accurate, consistent, and accessible across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small team of MDM Data Engineers while also contributing as a hands-on MDM Engineer
• Design, develop, and maintain master data management (MDM) solutions using Informatica MDM
• Build and manage data integration pipelines using MuleSoft
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
• Work within an Agile/Scrum framework alongside cross-functional data teams
• Support data workflows across platforms including Salesforce Cloud 360, Snowflake, and Apache Airflow
• Contribute to knowledge graph development and data ontology efforts (Entonum framework)
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance

This role will be roughly a 10-month long contract with possible extensions and fully remote.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica MDM as a lead
• Proficiency in MuleSoft integration development
• Advanced SQL skills --- querying, optimization, and data modeling
• Experience with Snowflake data warehousing
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow for pipeline orchestration
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ability to work fully remote and collaborate across global time zones
• Experience with Salesforce Cloud 360 or similar enterprise data platforms
• Knowledge graph or data ontology experience (Entonum or similar)
