About the Role
ION PT Network is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Clinical Assistant / Intake Team Member to support our clinician case owners in coordinating care for injured workers. This is an entry-level, remote position ideal for candidates with experience in a healthcare or physical therapy environment who thrive in a fast-paced, task-driven setting.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring referrals are accurate, complete, and efficiently processed, while supporting timely scheduling of initial therapy visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and process new referrals from email, website submissions, and system integrations
- Communicate with clients to obtain missing or incomplete referral information
- Schedule injured workers (IWs) for initial therapy evaluations
- Obtain required therapy documentation through:
- Phone outreach
- Email and eFax communication
- Monitor and manage incoming emails, eFaxes, and phone calls
- Accurately enter and maintain data within a CRM system
- Send Letters of Agreement (LOAs) to physical therapy clinics as needed
- Support clinician case owners by ensuring all case documentation is complete and properly organized
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a physical therapy or healthcare setting (strongly preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) (highly preferred)
- Experience with or familiarity using:
- Microsoft Outlook
- RingCentral
- Foxit PDF Editor
- Healthcare systems or patient data entry platforms

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
