ABOUT THE ALLIANCE
The Irish American Business Alliance of North Carolina (IABA NC) is a 501(c)(6) trade association connecting Irish, Irish-American, and Ireland-curious business leaders across the state. We promote North Carolina as a landing point for Irish companies entering the U.S. market, and we run programming that brings senior decision-makers together throughout the year.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a Digital Growth Lead to own the Alliance's digital presence and turn it into a measurable engine for member growth, sponsor visibility, and Ireland-to-NC business development.
This is a hands-on role with leadership-level scope. You will set the cadence on LinkedIn, the inbox, and the website, run paid campaigns aimed at Irish companies looking at the U.S., and report directly into the COO. The work is visible to our board, our partners at consular and trade agencies, and the senior business audience we serve.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Content and channels
- Two LinkedIn posts per week, tied to Alliance events, partnerships, and strategic priorities
- Website event listings, content refreshes, and ongoing accuracy
- A consistent voice across channels that resonates with a senior business audience
Email and CRM
- A clean, accurate mailing list with active hygiene
- A monthly email update to members and subscribers
- Tracked growth, engagement, and data-quality reporting
Paid media
- The Alliance's paid LinkedIn campaigns end to end, from build to optimization
- Targeted campaigns reaching Irish companies exploring U.S. market entry
- Campaign messaging coordinated with Alliance leadership and partners
Resources
- A curated, up-to-date library of resources for Irish companies expanding into North Carolina and the wider U.S.
Insights and reporting
- A monthly digital report covering list growth, organic engagement, and paid performance
- Clear recommendations leadership can act on
WHAT YOU BRING
Required
- Strong written communication for a senior business audience
- Demonstrable experience managing a LinkedIn company page and running paid LinkedIn campaigns
- Working fluency with an email marketing platform and basic CRM hygiene
- Comfort updating content in a CMS-driven website
- High attention to detail and a track record of doing what you said you would do, on time
Preferred
- B2B, economic development, or international business marketing experience
- Familiarity with the Irish to U.S. business or trade ecosystem
- Comfort operating independently inside a lean organization
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS
- A consistent, high-quality LinkedIn presence with measurable lift in followers, post engagement, and inbound member or sponsor inquiries
- A growing, well-segmented mailing list with stronger open and click rates than today
- At least one paid campaign that demonstrably reaches and engages Irish business decision-makers
- A monthly reporting rhythm the board and COO rely on for decisions
PRACTICAL DETAILS
- Hours: 8 to 10 per week, flexible scheduling
- Location: Remote. North Carolina-based candidates preferred for occasional in-person events
- Contract: 1099 contractor, initial 6-month engagement with intent to extend
- Compensation: $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience
- Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
- Start date: May 26, 2026
