.NET Web Developer -II

Position Overview

The State of Wisconsin is seeking a .NET Web Developer -II.

Note: Candidates MUST be a Wisconsin resident. No relocation is allowed. This position is 100% remote within the state of WI.

This role involves the development and support of critical priority applications within the Division of Employment and Training. You will play an integral role on self-directed work teams, contributing to high-priority projects including application design, integration with 3rd party software, data conversion, and code modifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain web services and systems.
• Perform system integration and web development.
• Utilize Agile Scrum development methodology.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#
• Object-Oriented Design
• Visual Studio .NET

• MVC and MVVM design patterns
• MS .NET Frameworks 4 and 6
• Oracle PL-SQL

Required Skills & Experience

• Web/Client-Server Development: 6+ years of experience in requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support.
• Industry Experience: 3+ years in government, insurance, accounting, or case management.
• Technical Specialization: 3+ years in online transaction processing (OLTP) web application development and batch processing.
• Core Technologies: 3-5 years in ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, and Object-Oriented Design.
• Tools & Patterns: 3-6 years in Visual Studio .NET, Jira, GitHub, MVC, and MVVM.
