Accountabilities
- Lead the regional sales strategy for the Mid-Atlantic territory, driving revenue growth, margin expansion, and profitable customer performance across assigned accounts.
- Build and execute annual and multi-year account plans for major retailers, with strong focus on strategic partnerships, customer retention, and category growth.
- Negotiate annual agreements, pricing structures, promotions, and trade terms to maximize long-term commercial value.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities while expanding presence within existing accounts and channels.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, weekly/monthly business reporting, and actionable performance insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations teams to launch initiatives, improve execution, and support new product rollouts.
- Analyze portfolio performance, optimize SKU mix, and recommend strategies to improve productivity and profitability.
- Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events while strengthening brand visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience within Consumer Packaged Goods, beverage, produce, or related industries.
- Proven success managing large retail or grocery accounts and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Strong knowledge of P&L management, budgeting, pricing strategy, and revenue forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability to create strategic growth plans and execute against aggressive sales targets.
- Excellent presentation skills with experience engaging senior buyers, executives, and decision-makers.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related business systems.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Must reside within the Mid-Atlantic region and be able to travel approximately 30% to 50%.
