Regional Sales Manager -- PNW/NorCal United States
Remote (PNW/NorCal US) · Travel ~50% · Full-time
The opportunity -- Why this role exists
We're hiring a Regional Sales Manager to own sales performance across the PNW/NorCal United States (WA/OR/NorCal). You'll develop and execute a regional sales strategy that grows revenue, market share, and brand presence across our target segments: developers, contractors, retailers and distribution partners.
This is a remote/field role with approximately 50% travel. You'll be the face of Kebony in your territory --- and you'll own the number.
This position reports directly to the Managing Director, and further supported by and work closely with the National Sales Director in regards to distribution strategy and structure, and Architectural Sales Director and local Specification Representative in regards to the specification activity in the market.
Make it yours -- What you will own and do
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to grow revenue, market share, and brand presence across target segments.
- Develop/manage/lead rep group sales support throughout the region.
- Prospect new customers and nurture existing accounts through in-person meetings, site visits, and solution presentations for decking, cladding, and other applications.
- Manage the regional sales pipeline end to end --- qualifying leads, preparing proposals, negotiating pricing and terms within guidelines, and closing opportunities.
- Influence developers, contractors, retailers and distributors.
- Collaborate with marketing, technical, and customer support teams to coordinate regional campaigns and deliver excellent service throughout the sales cycle.
- Represent Kebony at trade shows and industry events.
- Own the overall performance of the territory and report progress through CRM tools and KPI driven metrics.
What we are looking for
- 3--5 years of outside / B2B field sales experience, ideally in building materials, lumber, decking, or related construction products. Account management or regional sales leadership experience is a strong plus.
- A demonstrated ability to build and manage a sales pipeline --- prospecting, qualifying, presenting solutions, and closing.
- Strong relationship-building skills with architects, designers, developers, contractors, and distribution partners, with the ability to influence specification and project decisions.
- Comfort with in-person meetings, jobsite visits, trade shows, and regional travel across the Northeastern US.
- Solid business and financial acumen --- pricing discussions, margin management, and sales forecasting.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate technical product benefits into clear, customer-focused language.
- A self-directed, organized, goal-oriented approach, with a track record of hitting sales targets and reporting through CRM.
- Genuine interest in sustainable building, green technologies, and design-driven products; prior experience in these areas is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or construction management a plus.
