The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating organizational priorities into people strategies that drive performance, retention, and growth. This role partners with managers at all levels to navigate complex employee relations matters, build workforce capability, and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The HRBP acts as a consultative resource on talent management, organizational design, compensation guidance, and change management, balancing business needs with employee advocacy.

Your role in our team

  • Partner with business leaders to understand, execute, and shape talent and workforce strategies that drive operational performance, organizational growth, and succession planning.
  • Advise managers on employee relations, including performance concerns, corrective actions, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Drive talent and performance management processes, equipping managers with tools to develop, retain, and engage teams.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, proactively identifying risks and recommending policy updates.
  • Assess and address training, coaching, and development needs to close skill gaps.
  • Contribute to workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by managing stakeholder engagement and guiding leaders through transitions.
  • Leverage HR analytics and workforce data to inform business decisions and present insights to senior leadership.
  • Interpret and operationalize company policies, ensuring consistent application.
  • Coordinate across HR Centers of Excellence (Payroll, Employee Services, Recruiting) to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional HR projects and initiatives.
  • Build learning and development programs to provide internal growth opportunities.
  • Support the recruitment process, including interviewing and hiring for managerial, exempt, and professional roles.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements to reduce risk and ensure compliance.

Your profile

  • Proficient with HRIS platforms and reporting tools (SuccessFactors or Workday experience required).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate HR data into actionable recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of federal contractor compliance, multi-state employment laws, and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, ownership, and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strong consultative, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to build trusted advisory relationships.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% for business meetings and site visits.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Highly preferred).

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience as a business partner, with at least 2 years in employee relations and 3 years in Employee Engagement and recruitment.
  • 2 years of experience in a shared services or center of excellence HR model.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or relevant HR certification (Preferred).
  • Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environment (Preferred).

Additional requirements

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain valid travel documentation (e.g., passport).
  • Must be able to lawfully enter and exit the United States and other countries as needed.

Physical demands

  • Primarily office-based environment requiring frequent sitting, walking, and computer use. Occasional standing, light lifting (up to 10 lbs), climbing stairs, bending, and reaching.
