Overview
We are hiring a Remote Appointment Setter / Lead Follow-Up Specialist to help manage inbound leads from dentists and healthcare professionals who are interested in launching their own assisting school.
This is not a hard-closing role at the beginning. Your job is to respond quickly to inbound leads, help them watch our short video presentation, complete our intake questionnaire or chatbot process, and book qualified discovery calls with our team.
The right person will be organized, professional, persistent, and comfortable speaking with dentists, physicians, and healthcare business owners.
This role can grow into a larger sales opportunity for a strong performer. As SMV expands nationally, top performers may have the opportunity to move into a higher-level sales role with significant commission potential, including possible six-figure annual commission earnings.
What You'll Do
You will help move prospects through the early SMV sales process:
New lead → video watched → questionnaire/chatbot completed → discovery call booked → call confirmed → no-show recovery if needed
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Monitor new leads inside GoHighLevel.
- Call, text, and email new inbound leads quickly.
- Send prospects the SMV video presentation.
- Follow up with leads who requested information but have not watched the video.
- Follow up with leads who watched the video but did not complete the questionnaire.
- Follow up with leads who completed the questionnaire but did not book a call.
- Book qualified discovery calls.
- Confirm scheduled calls by SMS/email.
- Reduce no-shows through reminders and personal follow-up.
- Reschedule no-shows.
- Keep the CRM pipeline clean and accurate.
- Add clear notes to each lead record.
- Identify hot leads and flag them for the sales team.
- Send a simple daily activity report.
What You Are Not Expected to Do
At the beginning, you are not expected to:
- Close sales.
- Explain every detail of state licensure.
- Negotiate pricing.
- Handle contracts.
- Manage payments.
- Build technical automations.
- Provide legal or regulatory advice.
Your role is to create speed-to-lead, professional follow-up, and qualified booked calls.
Ideal Candidate
You may be a strong fit if you have experience in:
- Appointment setting
- SDR / sales development
- Inside sales
- High-ticket B2B lead follow-up
- Healthcare, dental, medical, education, franchise, consulting, or coaching sales
- CRM follow-up
- GoHighLevel or similar CRM systems
You should be:
- U.S.-based
- Comfortable calling dentists, physicians, and business owners
- Clear and professional on the phone
- Strong in written SMS/email communication
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using scripts while still sounding natural
- Persistent without being pushy
- Able to follow a CRM process
- Reliable with daily reporting
GoHighLevel experience is preferred, but we can train the right person if you have strong appointment-setting experience.
Compensation
Compensation includes:
- $25/hour base pay - 10 hours per week minimum
- Bonus for qualified discovery calls that are booked and held
- Additional bonus opportunity for signed and paid clients
- Opportunity to grow into a larger sales role with significant commission upside
This role can become much larger for the right person. SMV sells a high-ticket B2B education launch system, and strong performers who grow into sales responsibilities may have the opportunity to earn significant commissions, including possible six-figure annual commission earnings as the company scales. Advancement depends on performance, reliability, professionalism, CRM discipline, booked-call quality, held-call rate, and ability to represent our company well.

Success Looks Like
In the first 30 days, success means:
- New leads are contacted quickly.
- Leads are moved through the video/questionnaire/call-booking flow.
- CRM notes are clean.
- Qualified discovery calls are booked.
- No-shows are reduced.
- Hot leads are flagged.
- Daily reporting is consistent.
Schedule
This is a part-time remote role to start.
Preferred availability:
- Monday--Friday
- U.S. business hours
- Central or Eastern time zone preferred
- 10--20 hours per week to start
Hours may increase if performance is strong and lead volume grows.
