Description
We are looking for a Reddit-savvy contractor to manage the client's brand presence on Reddit and other major social media channels. In this role, you will develop and post content, engage with online communities, monitor brand reputation, coordinate with internal teams (editorial, customer care, external relations), assist with paid media campaigns, track key performance metrics, and help grow CLIENT's audience in a way that feels authentic to each platform—especially Reddit.

- Experience with paid social media strategies (especially on Reddit)
- Ability to interpret data, analytics, and audience metrics to drive growth
- Working knowledge of third-party social tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Talkwalker, Reddit Pro Trends)
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills (listening, flexibility, conflict management)
Requirements for the role
- Proven experience managing or growing Reddit communities (required)
- Ability to navigate brand reputation risks and participate authentically in relevant subreddits
- Experience coordinating with internal teams and agencies to develop timely and accurate social content
- Ability to update and maintain editorial calendars (using Airtable or similar)
- Experience creating and overseeing paid campaign project trackers (using Asana or similar)
- Capability to track KPIs, analyze content performance, and provide constructive guidance
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
- Preferred: Experience with paid social strategies on Reddit
- Preferred but not required: Located in Washington D.C. metro area (remote open for strong candidate)
Education and Experience
- Completion of a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline
- 4–6 years of experience managing social media platforms for a variety of clients at an agency or large, complex organization, including content strategy, community engagement, copywriting, publishing, and paid media
- Deep expertise in social media content strategy, copywriting, and growing/engaging social communities for large organizations and/or brands
- Working knowledge of social communications platforms
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and strong attention to detail
