Responsibilities:
- Managing contract disputes, provider litigation, and overpayment recovery.
- Conducting in-depth claims analysis using large datasets.
- Drafting motions to compel and dismiss.
- Overseeing discovery and case development.
- Maintaining a substantial active caseload.
- Preparing cases for arbitration.
Candidate Requirements:
- 1--7 years of legal experience.
- An active California Bar license in good standing.
- Strong professional judgment and a dedicated work ethic.
- A demonstrated interest in healthcare law is valuable, especially if litigation experience is limited.
- Defense-side experience is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $125,000 -- $180,000 (Depending on Experience - DOE)
- Billable Bonus: $10,000 awarded at 2,000 hours, with an additional $10,000 for every 100 hours thereafter.
