Senior Software Engineer / Java / Ruby / Scala

About the Role

A multi-billion dollar life sciences company is looking to bring on Senior Software Engineers to join their team! You'll be part of building their main product, used by scientists, clinicians, and researchers to develop new drugs. This team is responsible for building their main cloud-based platform that holds millions of pieces of data used in biological and drug research. You'll work on authentication services in 0Auth or SAML, and focus on the backend in either Java, Scala, or Ruby on Rails.

Ideal candidates have a strong software development background in Java, Scala, Ruby, or other JVM language, and have previous experience in commercial/enterprise SaaS companies. You'll be working on brand new, critical products so previous experience building mission-critical applications from the ground up is needed.

This role is 100% Remote, with a slight preference for ET hours.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Experience in either Java, Ruby on Rails, Scala, Golang, Kotlin, or other JVM language
• Experience in enterprise or commercial level SaaS companies
• Experience building mission-critical applications

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
