Position Overview

Universal Technical Institute is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Regional Admissions Director to lead our Field Admissions Team. You will manage a group of 8-12 Field Admissions Representatives, providing leadership through ongoing training, coaching, development, and hiring of top talent. We are looking for a leader who is firm, goal-oriented, and capable of motivating and engaging others in an enthusiastic way.

This is a remote position that requires the candidate to live in and travel throughout the Raleigh, Charlotte, and surrounding territories by car and air.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster Relationships: Partner with the Director of Admissions Process on training for Field Reps. Partner with campus leadership to maintain alignment with shared goals. Participate in the interview and selection process.
  • Lead and Mentor: Instill a culture of high performance, motivation, and engagement. Utilize effective training, performance management, and career-development activities to achieve business results and performance metrics.
  • Administrative: Prepare staff projections for the budgeting process. Attend meetings at both campus and home office locations. Manage existing policies and processes consistent with company philosophy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma required.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of sales experience.
    • 3-5 years of sales management experience preferred.
  • Strategic Deliverables: Ability to develop and execute a strategic plan for areas of responsibility.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop, evaluate, and implement solutions.
  • Management of Personnel Resources: Motivating, developing, and directing people, and identifying the best talent for the job.
  • Management of Financial Resources: Determining how money will be spent to achieve objectives and accounting for expenditures.
  • Remote Leadership: Proven history of success in managing functions and people from a distance.

What We Offer

  • Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 per year.
