We are a creative-first growth marketing agency, and we are looking for a strategic, hands-on operator who can lead a brand's growth from the inside.

This is a remote role and open to candidates based in the United States.

About The Role

The Growth Account Director is the strategic growth lead for each client brand in your portfolio. You own the growth narrative end to end, orchestrate the pod assigned to your brands, and lead daily and weekly performance decisions across paid media and creative. You report into Odyssey's Head of Growth and lead the team executing on your accounts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as the strategic growth lead for your client brands, owning the growth narrative end to end and serving as the senior point of accountability for performance, creative direction, and channel strategy
  • Manage all aspects of the client relationship across our growing direct-to-consumer portfolio, leading onboarding, regular client meetings, and key project calls
  • Lead the internal team assigned to your brands (creative strategists, paid media specialists, influencer coordinators, designers, ops) and hold the line on output quality, cadence, and standards
  • Create and execute media plans aligned to each client's goals, KPIs, and budget
  • Make daily and weekly optimization decisions across Meta, TikTok, and Google, including budget shifts, creative rotation, audience changes, and bidding adjustments
  • Formulate the messaging, targeting, and media strategy for your client brands
  • Lead creative performance analysis using Motion to translate thumbstop, hook, hold, and conversion patterns into actionable briefs for the creative team
  • Direct the influencer and UGC pipeline alongside the influencer coordinator, ensuring concept volume and quality keep pace with the testing roadmap
  • Develop reporting and insights that unlock performance improvements
  • Stay close to the technical foundation of the work (pixel implementation, audience creation, catalog management) and ensure it is set up correctly to support performance
  • Partner with Odyssey's Head of Growth on strategic direction, escalations, and account health

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 4+ years of experience in performance marketing, media buying, or growth marketing at an agency or brand
  • Expert-level knowledge of Meta and TikTok Ads with a deep understanding of creative strategy. Intermediate knowledge of Google Ads is a strong plus
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams (creative, paid, influencer) to drive performance outcomes for D2C brands
  • Comfort owning a brand's growth strategy from inside our agency, including shaping brand positioning and messaging alongside the founder or in-house team
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present data-driven recommendations to both clients and internal teams
  • Proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Compensation Range: $95K - $110K
