Role Overview

The Senior Director, Global Order to Cash (O2C) owns the end-to-end execution of revenue realization, ensuring revenue is accurate, compliant, scalable, and delivered with a strong customer experience. This role spans the full O2C lifecycle across multiple regions and currencies, with direct influence on cash flow, revenue accuracy, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end Order-to-Cash lifecycle, from order intake and billing through collections, renewals, and cash application.
  • Lead globally distributed and offshore teams, building strong execution, accountability, and engagement.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure revenue execution aligns with ASC 606, internal policies, and SOX controls.
  • Act as a trusted partner to Sales and Legal on complex deal structures, contract interpretation, and execution readiness.
  • Own the O2C systems roadmap, driving automation, standardization, and data integrity across CRM, ERP, billing, and collections platforms.
  • Define and drive KPIs such as billing accuracy, DSO, renewal execution, and forecast accuracy.
  • Lead change management initiatives, balancing operational stability with ongoing transformation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 15+ years of experience in Order-to-Cash, Revenue Operations, or Finance Operations within complex, global environments.
  • Deep, practical expertise in revenue recognition (ASC 606) and audit-ready operating models.
  • Proven change leader who can challenge entrenched ways of working and move teams—and senior stakeholders—through resistance.
  • Experience influencing leaders across Sales, Finance, Legal, Technology, and Product without direct authority.
  • Strong executive presence, with the credibility and communication skills to operate effectively with senior leadership.
  • Comfortable operating hands-on while also driving long-term transformation.
  • Experience leading large, geographically distributed teams in fast-paced organizations.
