Requirements

Must have:

  • US-based professional legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship).
  • 3–5 years of experience with IBM Maximo 7.x and Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.x.
  • Strong technical capability in SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Jython, Python, and XML.
  • Solid Maximo configuration expertise: workflow design, automation scripting, BIRT report development, screen tailoring, and data analysis/loading.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with WebSphere or WebLogic, DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server, and Windows or Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of Maximo integrations using MIF, REST/SOAP services, and JSON/XML.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and data-driven judgment.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with mobile solutions for Maximo.
  • Prior Maximo end-user support or IT help desk experience.
  • IBM Maximo certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience delivering at least two full-cycle Maximo implementations.
  • Industry knowledge in Utilities, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve mission-critical Maximo issues.
  • Act as a client-facing technical and functional liaison.
  • Prioritize and manage a varied workload of support requests and implementation deliverables.
  • Coordinate between support help desk and project teams for technical enhancements.
  • Manage support tickets within service levels with proactive communication.
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Configure and customize Maximo screens, workflows, automation scripts, and database settings.
  • Execute data analysis, mapping, validation, migration, and updates.
  • Build and modify BIRT reports and write complex SQL queries.
  • Document technical solutions, functional specifications, and configuration guides.
  • Support implementation project deliveries.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with functional requirements.

  • Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 per year.
