Job Summary
Positive Behavior Steps is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Operator to join our remote team. You will be responsible for accurately entering, maintaining, and managing client and organizational data to support our behavioral health programs. Your precision will directly contribute to the quality of care we provide.
Location: United States (Remote)
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain client records, program data, and operational information across company databases and internal systems.
- Review and verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before entry.
- Process and manage incoming data from clinical, administrative, and operations teams.
- Identify and correct data discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies promptly.
- Generate and compile data reports for internal review.
- Maintain organized digital records and filing systems in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and workflow efficiency.
- Assist with data migration, cleansing, and database management projects.
- Handle all client and organizational data with the highest level of confidentiality, complying with HIPAA and privacy regulations.
- Respond to internal data requests professionally and promptly.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate recommendations.
- Provide general administrative and operational support as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or a healthcare-related role.
- Typing speed and accuracy of 40-50 WPM.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with EHR systems, CRM software, or database management tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently remotely.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Passion for behavioral health and community impact.
- Bilingual skills are a bonus.
