About ROICX Solutions
ROICX Solutions helps businesses improve customer experience, reduce missed opportunities, and increase operational efficiency through AI-powered voice, SMS, chat, and automation systems.
We work with businesses that need more than "cool AI." They need AI that answers calls, handles leads, supports customers, books appointments, follows up, integrates with existing systems, and actually drives measurable ROI.
We are looking for a Lead AI Development Architect to help design, build, and lead the technical foundation behind these solutions.
Role Overview
The Lead AI Development Architect will be responsible for designing the overall architecture of AI-powered customer experience systems. This person should understand how voice AI, chatbots, SMS workflows, CRM integrations, APIs, databases, prompt systems, and business logic all work together.
This is not just a coding role. This is a leadership role for someone who can think through the full system, map out how everything connects, guide developers and integrators, and make sure our AI solutions are scalable, reliable, and built the right way from the beginning.
We need someone who can turn a business problem into a working AI architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end AI system architecture for client deployments across voice, SMS, chat, and automation.
- Work with leadership and client-facing teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Create technical blueprints for AI agents, workflows, integrations, data routing, escalation logic, and reporting.
- Lead the development approach for AI-powered customer experience systems.
- Oversee how AI agents connect to CRMs, scheduling platforms, call systems, support tools, databases, and third-party APIs.
- Guide developers, AI integrators, and prompt builders to make sure the final solution works as designed.
- Help define best practices for scalable AI deployments.
- Evaluate tools, platforms, APIs, LLMs, voice AI providers, automation platforms, and data systems.
- Create reusable frameworks and templates that speed up future implementations.
- Review and improve system reliability, error handling, fallback logic, security, and data flow.
- Work with customer support and implementation teams to identify issues, improve performance, and optimize deployments.
- Support technical documentation so the team can understand and maintain each system.
- Stay current on AI tools, automation trends, voice AI, LLM improvements, and integration options.
Ideal Candidate
- You are part architect, part builder, part problem solver.
- You can look at a messy customer journey and see the system that needs to exist underneath it.
- You understand AI, but you also understand business operations. You know that a great AI system is not just about the model. It is about workflows, integrations, prompts, data, escalation paths, reporting, and real customer experience.
- You do not need someone to hand you a perfect spec. You can help create the spec.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of AI-powered automation systems.
- Experience designing or building AI agents, chatbots, voice AI systems, or customer support automation.
- Experience with APIs, webhooks, CRM integrations, and workflow automation.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, data flow, and integration logic.
- Experience working with LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar.
- Ability to think through edge cases, fallback flows, escalation rules, and customer experience.
- Ability to lead technical conversations with both internal teams and external clients.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Comfortable moving quickly in a startup-style environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with voice AI platforms.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, Zoho, or similar.
- Experience with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or custom workflow systems.
- Experience with Twilio, telephony systems, SMS platforms, or call routing.
- Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or reporting systems.
- Experience managing developers, integrators, or technical implementation teams.
- Experience in BPO, customer experience, call center, SaaS, healthcare, franchise, or multi-location business environments.
What Success Looks Like
- AI deployments are designed clearly before they are built.
- Implementation teams know exactly what to build and why.
- Client systems connect cleanly to the right tools and data sources.
- AI agents perform reliably in real customer conversations.
- Projects launch faster because the architecture is reusable and well documented.
- The team has technical clarity instead of guessing.
- Clients see measurable ROI from the AI systems we deploy.
