Are you passionate about health and fitness and eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who serve our country? Join the US Army's innovative Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program as a qualified Workforce and Training Manager dedicated to enhancing physical fitness and the overall well-being of soldiers at all levels upon contract award. This is a fully remote position. This is temporary.
As the Workforce and Training Manager, you will be a vital member of the H2F Human Performance Team (HPT), which is crucial in the US Army's approach to soldier readiness and well-being. You will work alongside a team of professionals, offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity for those passionate about improving overall soldier health.
This is a temporary position. Estimated length is 5 months (June 26 to October 26) but subject to change.
In this role, you will:
- Recruiting, pre-screening and onboarding all H2F staff.
- Manage the Community of Practice (COP).
- Manage the H2F Learning Management System.
- Develop and deliver training content for H2F staff.
- Assist with development and maintenance of SOPs and employee training plans.
- Track employee certifications, ensuring 100% of SCCs have an active qualifying certification and CPS certifications to include timeline to obtain certification from start date.
- Provide professional development opportunities for H2F staff.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- The ability to pass a NACI (Tier 1) to obtain access to U.S. Government facilities and systems.
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) to seven (7) years of experience.
- The ability to create and deliver training teams across multiple locations.
- Knowledge of the workplace, jobs, and requirement for entry into those jobs.
- The ability to work well with military and government personnel and H2F staff.
- The ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Familiarity with a variety of the strength and conditioning coaching field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- The ability to travel 25% of the time as required.
Additional Desired Experience and Skills
- Active NACI.
- Preferred a Master's degree.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
- Experience managing human performance optimization teams (preferred).
- Familiarity with the military culture and customs (preferred).
- Experience as a Government contractor (preferred).
