- Senior Human Resources Generalist
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist with a strong focus on payroll operations and supporting core recruitment activities. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing, while also assisting with end-to-end recruitment and general HR operations across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate has hands-on payroll experience in the U.S. and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll (Primary Focus)
- Manage end-to-end U.S. payroll processing in coordination with payroll vendors/systems
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll execution, including salaries, bonuses, overtime, and deductions
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Handle payroll inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies
- Support payroll audits and reporting requirements
- Partner with Finance on payroll reconciliation and month-end close activities
Recruitment & Staffing
- Support full-cycle recruitment including job posting, sourcing, screening, and interview coordination
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and support hiring needs
- Support onboarding process for new hires
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain employee records in HR systems
- Support benefits administration and employee lifecycle changes (onboarding, transfers, exits)
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with U.S. labor laws
- Support HR reporting and ad hoc HR projects as needed
Requirements
Must-Have
- 10 years above of HR Generalist or HR Operations experience
- Strong hands-on experience in U.S. payroll processing (multi-state preferred)
- Familiarity with U.S. labor laws and payroll compliance requirements
- Experience supporting recruitment processes
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paychex, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent communication skills in English

- Experience in tech or fast-growing companies
- Communication skills in Mandarin
