About the Role
We're hiring a Social Media Account Manager for a senior-track role focused on client relationships, strategy, and account growth. This position offers real ownership, going beyond a typical project management role. You will be responsible for managing and strengthening client relationships from start to finish.
What You'll Own
- Lead client accounts with strategy, content curation, distribution, and engagement.
- Manage 4-8 client accounts as the primary point of contact and strategic lead.
- Oversee day-to-day communication for multiple client accounts.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Develop social strategy, content direction, and optimize performance across all major platforms.
- Identify, outreach to, and manage influencer campaigns when applicable.
- Lead client calls, presentations, reporting discussions, and strategic conversations.
- Manage projects, timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination.
- Drive client growth by identifying and advocating for expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with creative production, paid media, and strategy teams.
- Conduct social listening for trending content, conversations, topics, events, and news.
- Ensure clients feel supported, informed, and confident in the partnership.
- Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media data against KPIs.
- Deliver performance reports and translate data into actionable insights.

- Establish trust with all clients in your portfolio.
- Identify at least one optimization or growth opportunity per account.
- Actively experiment with AI tools to enhance your work.
- Be perceived by clients as a strategic partner, not just a vendor.
Career Growth
Our strongest Account Managers can advance to Senior AM, Group Account Director, or Strategy Lead roles within 2-3 years. We prioritize internal promotions. Clear paths exist for those aspiring to lead teams, manage client verticals, or shape agency strategy.
What You Bring to the Table
- 5-8 years of social media account management experience.
- 2-3 years of agency experience required.
- Strong understanding of social KPIs and ability to analyze performance data to inform strategy.
- Creative mindset with experience in campaign planning and idea generation.
- Proven success in developing social media campaigns and managing social communities, including day-to-day management, growth strategies, paid media, measurement, engagement campaigns, and content strategy.
- Genuine curiosity about AI and a willingness to experiment with new tools and workflows.
- Excellent written communication skills for briefs, emails, and captions.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Confidence in client-facing conversations with senior marketing leaders.
- A genuine interest in social media as a discipline.
- Innate curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit.
What We Offer
- Salary: $75,000--$90,000, DOE (exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience).
