[Remote] DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Symphony Corporation is seeking a Senior CI/CD Engineer with expertise in Azure DevOps and TFS Modernization. This is a remote position open to candidates in the USA. The role focuses on creating and supporting build and release pipelines, as well as modernizing legacy processes into Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Senior CI/CD Engineer with experience in Azure DevOps / TFS Modernization.
• Provide strong experience with Azure DevOps for build and release pipeline creation and support.
• Utilize working knowledge of TFS, including experience with legacy XAML build definitions.
• Support applications built in .NET and Java.
• Migrate or modernize legacy build/release processes into Azure DevOps.
• Perform basic Windows administration, including server setup/support, services, permissions, and troubleshooting.
• Handle middleware installation/configuration on Windows-based build or target servers.
• Utilize scripting/automation with PowerShell, batch scripting, or similar tools.
• Apply understanding of software build, packaging, deployment, and environment promotion processes.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Skills Required

• 3 to 5 years of experience in CI/CD engineering, DevOps, or build/release engineering.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps for build and release pipeline creation and support.
• Working knowledge of TFS, including experience with legacy XAML build definitions.
• Experience supporting applications built in .NET and Java.
• Experience migrating or modernizing legacy build/release processes into Azure DevOps.
• Basic Windows administration skills, including server setup/support, services, permissions, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with middleware installation/configuration on Windows-based build or target servers.
• Familiarity with scripting/automation using PowerShell, batch scripting, or similar tools.
• Understanding of software build, packaging, deployment, and environment promotion processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.
