- Schedule: Full-time after training (7 AM -- 5 PM MST)
About The Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Charge Entry Specialist to support a fast-growing, mission-driven healthcare organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a data-heavy, structured environment and enjoys working with large datasets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
You'll play a critical role in supporting charge entry and claims submission processes by validating and managing data that directly impacts patient care and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry and data validation
- Create and maintain weekly and monthly reports
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies and gaps
- Manipulate large datasets (30,000+ rows) in Excel
- Combine, match, and reconcile data across multiple systems
- Use formulas, conditional formatting, and pivot tables to analyze data
- Build and maintain consistent reporting processes
- Support claims submission through accurate data preparation
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues independently
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in data entry, administrative, or clerical work
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data matching, formatting)
- Ability to take raw datasets and independently structure and clean data
- Strong typing skills (60+ WPM with high accuracy)
- Exceptional attention to detail and process adherence
- Comfortable working with high-volume, repetitive tasks
- Ability to work across multiple systems simultaneously
- Tech-savvy with strong remote work capabilities
✅ Excel assessment required (must score 94% or higher)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in charge entry, billing, or claims processing
- Background in healthcare or revenue cycle management
- Familiarity with data migration and reconciliation processes
Work Environment & Requirements
- 100% remote (optional Denver office access)
- Must have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace
- Must provide:
- Dual monitors
- Mac-compatible keyboard and mouse
- Training: ~4 weeks (starting at 8 AM MST, part-time)
