Regional Sales Managers - MPS (ERSA & EMEA)

Location: France or Belgium (Fully remote with regular travel up to 50%)

Reporting to: International Sales Director

This is a key interface role between the factory, distribution channel partners, and the end-customer market. You will be responsible for developing and delivering key business initiatives, dealer development, and providing technical sales and application support to external sales teams to drive sales growth. The territories of responsibility include Western, Central & Southern Africa and EMEA within the Terex Minerals Processing Systems ERSA & EMEA Region.

Main Duties:

  • Deliver technical and commercial sales support to achieve revenue, pricing, and margin sales performance targets in your specific sales territory.
  • Manage and develop distribution channels in your specific sales territory.
  • Prospect for new partners in territories and market segments that are not adequately covered.
  • Manage sales and forecasting for your territory to optimize Finished Goods Inventory.
  • Manage dealer order patterns, backlog scheduling, credit terms, and Receivable Collections.
  • Communicate new product launches, product changes, and pricing policy.
  • Provide technical application support for MPS ranges to dealers and end-users.
  • Recommend accurate technical solutions and machine performance specifications to propose the most efficient solution to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Train and advise dealer staff and end-users on products, applications, machine specifications, benefits, features, and USPs.
  • Attend commercial negotiations with Partners and End-users to advise on products, plants, and major projects.
  • Visit customer working sites to advise on plant layouts and process optimization.
  • Provide market feedback on existing products and services, as well as changes, enhancements, and new products, and convey this information to engineering and marketing team members for research and New Product Development.
  • Gain and maintain market intelligence, with particular emphasis on factors affecting MPS.
  • Provide updates on sales opportunities, sales forecasts, and travel plans in accordance with company reporting processes.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions, playing an active part in marketing and customer engagement activities as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with Terex Company policies, procedures, and all statutory requirements.
  • Significant international travel is required for this role.

Experience & Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ideally educated to degree level within an Engineering discipline.
  • Practical knowledge of the principles and practices involved in the aggregates and minerals processing industries, including the sizing and selection of equipment.
  • Significant technical sales experience of crushing, screening, and washing equipment, and/or crushing and screening production operations, processes, and plant layouts.
  • Previous experience selling and traveling in Africa.
  • Must be fluent in English and French, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to generate and deliver technical sales presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and lead negotiations with customers at all levels and across diverse international cultures.
  • Good listening, observation, and analytical skills to understand customer technical requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and innovative thinking skills to develop technical and commercial solutions for customers, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Thorough working knowledge of MS Office packages.
  • Experience with AggFlow, AutoCAD, or MS Visio software packages is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Must be goal and result-oriented with the energy, perseverance, and commitment to drive sales forward.
  • Honesty and Integrity to always follow sound ethical business practices.
