Position Overview
The Social Media & Athlete Content Assistant helps manage digital content, player highlights, and communication initiatives for the organization. This role supports social media posting, athlete recognition content, tournament coverage, and day-to-day content coordination.

Responsibilities
- Create and schedule social media content across platforms including Instagram and Facebook
- Assist with athlete spotlight posts, commitment announcements, tournament updates, and team graphics
- Coordinate with coaches and leadership to gather photos, schedules, scores, and player information
- Help organize and maintain content calendars and posting schedules
- Respond to general social media messages and assist with community engagement
- Support graphic, caption, and short-form content creation for organization announcements
- Assist with promotional content for tryouts, camps, tournaments, and recruiting events
- Monitor content performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement
- Help maintain a consistent voice and visual style across platforms
Qualifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content scheduling tools
- Interest in sports, softball, baseball, or youth athletics preferred
- Experience with Canva, basic graphic tools, or short-form video editing is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Creative mindset with attention to detail

Schedule
Monday to Friday
Some evening or weekend flexibility during tournaments or events may be needed
Compensation
Compensation is hourly and based on experience, communication skills, and overall fit for the role. Opportunities for expanded responsibilities and growth may become available over time.
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
