Role Description

This is a part-time, remote Human Resources Administrator role. The Human Resources Administrator will support day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, processing new hires and separations, and updating HRIS data.

The role will assist with benefits enrollment and changes, respond to employee inquiries, and coordinate documentation related to leave and other HR programs. The administrator will help ensure HR practices align with company policies and applicable labor and employment laws, including preparing standard correspondence and maintaining compliance files. The position will also support HR reporting, schedule HR-related meetings or trainings, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent and positive employee experience in a remote environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience supporting day-to-day HR operations.
  • Practical experience with Benefits Administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including data entry, record maintenance, and basic reporting.
  • Familiarity with Labor and Employment Law principles to help maintain compliant HR documentation and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote environment, with reliable internet access and basic technical proficiency (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace, virtual meeting tools).
  • Prior HR or administrative experience preferred; coursework or certification in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
