Electrical CAD / MicroStation Drafter (100% Remote)

Full-Time | Transmission Engineering Designer

What You'll Be Doing

As an Electrical CAD / MicroStation Drafter, you'll play a key role in developing plans, profiles, and structural details for electric utility construction projects. Working closely with engineers and senior drafters, you'll use industry-leading drafting tools to support transmission engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and revise electric utility construction drawings using MicroStation
  • Prepare plans, profiles, and structural details for transmission projects
  • Support engineering teams with drafting updates and document revisions
  • Maintain accuracy and adherence to utility document control standards

  • MicroStation
  • ProjectWise
  • Bluebeam
  • SAP
  • GIS Software
  • Microsoft Office

What We're Looking For/Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
  • 2+ years of relevant drafting experience
  • Two-year technical degree or drafting certificate (or equivalent experience)
  • Reliable internet connection and dedicated home workspace

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong MicroStation experience
  • Previous electric utility industry experience
  • Experience editing raster images
  • Familiarity with document control standards and processes

Bonus: If you have a portfolio of prior drafting work, we'd love to see it (helpful but not required).
