BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to support full-cycle recruitment across the enterprise. In this consultative role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior stakeholders, translating market research, competitive intelligence, and compensation data into actionable hiring strategies.

- Expertise in technical and engineering hiring, including evolving and competitive talent markets.
- Experience influencing (with or without authority) and building long-term, trust-based partnerships.
- Proven ability in leveraging data to guide decision-making and solve complex hiring challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to technical, executive, and cross-functional audiences.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering a high-quality candidate experience.
Bonus Points For
- A solutions-oriented mindset, with examples of designing or driving innovative recruiting strategies.
- Excitement around and experience leveraging generative AI, agentic AI, and/or AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, HiredScore, Paradox).
- Proficiency with Workday or similar enterprise ATS platforms.
- Willingness to travel to our Chattanooga, TN headquarters occasionally (this role is otherwise remote).
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers by educating, advising, and counseling on recruiting strategies, labor market conditions, and best practices.
- Lead full-life cycle recruiting for professional and hard-to-fill positions, including intake, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and offer processes.
- Develop and execute internal and external sourcing strategies to attract qualified and diverse candidate pools.
- Apply advanced recruiting techniques to identify and engage candidates with complex skill requirements.
- Manage relationships with third-party recruiting vendors and oversee related contracts.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of professional experience in a corporate environment).
Experience
- 3 years of hands-on, full-life cycle recruiting experience.
- 1 year of recruiting in hard-to-fill/professional positions (e.g., clinical, technical, finance).
Skills
- Strategic recruiting and sourcing expertise in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail with comfort navigating ambiguity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

- Travel to our Chattanooga, Tennessee headquarters is required for final interviews.
