Location and Territory

  • Location: Chicago area (easy access to Midway airport preferred)
  • Work Type: Fully Remote
  • Territory: IL, IN, OH, WI, MN, IA (focus on 75 miles around Chicago and major metro areas)
  • Travel: Approximately 50%

Role Overview

We are a global manufacturer of fall protection and safety solutions seeking a dedicated professional to manage our territory. You will represent a line of custom-engineered safety products, inspection services, engineering, and training.

This role is a blend of account management and "hunter" style sales. You will be supported by a full team of engineers, inspection personnel, and logistics experts.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
  • Commission: Uncapped
  • OTE: Approximately $145,000 - $150,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform B2B consultative sales and account management.
  • Utilize company-provided qualified leads while actively prospecting for new business.
  • Conduct site surveys to address ANSI and OSHA compliance issues.
  • Prepare detailed, site-specific quotations for engineered products.
  • Collaborate with engineering, inside sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Leverage construction tracking tools and market analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of hitting or exceeding goals.
  • Experience selling technical or engineered products.
  • Skilled in consultative selling (focusing on value over price).
  • Excellent communication skills for site visits, presentations, and client interactions.
  • Ability to work independently, including climbing on roofs and performing site measurements/sketches.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
