Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) with prior experience calling and selling to nonprofit organizations. The ideal candidate is comfortable with outbound prospecting, appointment setting, relationship building, and helping move opportunities through the sales process.
This role is ideal for someone who understands nonprofit organizations and can confidently speak with executive directors, finance teams, development staff, and organizational leadership.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting and cold calling to nonprofit organizations
- Identify qualified opportunities and schedule meetings for leadership
- Build and maintain outreach pipelines
- Follow up consistently with prospects and leads
- Track outreach activity and pipeline management within HubSpot CRM
- Work directly with leadership to refine messaging and outreach strategies
- Help build scalable outbound sales processes as the company grows
Requirements
- Prior experience calling and selling to nonprofit organizations is required
- Prior HubSpot CRM experience is required
- Experience in BDR, SDR, nonprofit sales, financial services sales, or related roles preferred
- Strong phone communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and appointment setting
- Self-motivated and organized in a remote work environment
Compensation Structure
Compensation includes:
- Base compensation
- Commission for qualified appointments that are successfully scheduled and completed
- Additional commission on closed deals
Employment Structure
- Initial 90-day trial period will be structured as a 1099 contractor position
- Upon successful completion of the trial period, the role will transition to full-time W2 employment
