GLADD (Grieving Loss After Death and Dying) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing grief support, connection, education, and advocacy for individuals and families navigating loss. Founded on the belief that grief should never be experienced in isolation, GLADD is committed to creating compassionate pathways of support and meaningful community partnerships nationwide.
We are seeking a highly motivated, relationship-focused Sales & Marketing Representative to support the growth and expansion of GLADD through strategic outreach, partnership development, sponsorship acquisition, and community engagement efforts.
This position is ideal for an individual who combines strong business development abilities with a genuine passion for serving others and advancing a mission-driven organization.
Position Summary
The Sales & Marketing Representative will play an integral role in increasing organizational awareness, cultivating community relationships, identifying sponsorship opportunities, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. This individual will serve as an ambassador for GLADD by building meaningful partnerships and representing the organization with professionalism and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and cultivate relationships with businesses, healthcare organizations, hospices, senior living communities, funeral homes, community leaders, and strategic partners
- Identify and secure sponsorships, partnerships, fundraising opportunities, and donor relationships
- Execute outreach initiatives through networking events, phone communication, email campaigns, social media engagement, and in-person meetings
- Represent GLADD at community events, networking functions, and public engagements
- Assist in implementing marketing campaigns and initiatives to increase awareness and visibility
- Maintain outreach activity records and provide progress updates to leadership
- Collaborate with executive leadership on growth strategies and partnership opportunities
- Support initiatives designed to expand GLADD's impact and mission reach nationally
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, business development, fundraising, outreach, or relationship management preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships across diverse communities
- Strong networking and community engagement skills
- Proficiency in social media and digital communication platforms preferred
- Reliable transportation preferred for local outreach opportunities

Compensation
- Commission-based structure
- Pay: $50,185.57 - $150,000.00 per year
