Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Director of Recruiting for our Health and Civilian Talent Acquisition team. This position will be located within the United States and will be a fully remote opportunity.
Responsibilities
Manages the development of efficient recruiting resources, screening and interviewing applicants, and the availability of the proper caliber of manpower to meet staffing requirements. Establishes and administers procedures for the recruitment, selection, and employment processing of new employees. Supervises the procurement, investigation, interview, and selection activities of subordinate staff members. Develops employment advertising to accurately reflect manpower requirements and provide for the placement of recruitment ads in appropriate national and local media. Meets with managers on an on-going basis to identify and review requirements and responsiveness to organizational needs. Monitors budget for department, selects and trains staff, represents department to internal/external stakeholders and recommends improvements and efficiencies.
- Develops and implements sourcing strategies, processes and activities related to the identification and attraction of top talent across a broad array of functions and levels.
- Responsible for maintaining recruiting metrics for the department (i.e. time-to-fill, time-to-start, cost per hire, etc.).
- Supervises the recruiting team and reports on its performance.
- Stays up-to-date on labor legislation and informs recruiters and managers about changes in regulations.
- Aids in the development of other managers within the Company, trains and develops staff on recruitment strategies/techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor's with 15 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience developing recruiting strategy in a federal contracting environment.
- Strong understanding of ATS systems (iCIMS), HRIS, compliance requirements, and enterprise hiring workflows.
- Proven ability to partner with executives and lead high‑performing recruiting teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience leading recruiting within GovCIO's customer sectors (HCS, NSS, VETS, Corporate).
- Familiarity with federal contracting, clearance processes, COI/HR101C procedures, and OFCCP guidelines.
- Experience with talent analytics, automation, or optimizing large‑scale hiring operations.
Posted Salary Range
USD $155,000.00 - USD $185,000.00 /Yr.

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
