Our Enterprise Solutions Engineering team comprises in-house, customer-facing product experts dedicated to enabling Grafana Labs' global growth. We educate potential and existing customers, ensuring their success and satisfaction through demos, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing engagement. We also collaborate closely with our Sales team to qualify and close opportunities, serving as a key communication channel between customers and our Product Management and Engineering teams.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Be an early member of a high-growth team, collaboratively solving technical and customer challenges.
• Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
• Lead technical engagements with customers, leveraging advanced competitive knowledge, technical skills, and credibility to close high-velocity opportunities.
• Deliver product and technical presentations to prospective and existing customers.
• Proactively communicate with customers and internal teams, providing feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
• Drive product discussions based on customer needs and challenges identified during interactions.
• Contribute to enhancing documentation, writing blog posts, recording videos, creating knowledge base articles, and developing other public and internal enablement materials.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Ideally located in the Greater NYC or Boston Area.
• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, preferably with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space. We need team members who can start contributing immediately.
• As a startup, expect varied and complex job duties requiring strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership.
• Experience working effectively in a remote-first company and collaborating with an international team.
• First-class written and oral communication skills for collaborating with remote teams and worldwide customers, and for articulating our value proposition and technical advantages.
• A passion for solving technical challenges and delivering creative customer solutions.
• A technical mindset with a desire for continuous technical growth. Previous experience with coding bootcamps, post-sales, or engineering roles is highly valued.
• Self-motivated, proactive, creative, and a proven ability to take initiative.

Compensation & Rewards:

• OTE (On-Target Earnings) range for this role in the United States is $204,000 - $254,000. Actual compensation will depend on level, experience, and skillset.
• All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), providing ownership in Grafana Labs' success and aligning team members with our global growth.
• Compensation ranges are country-specific. Recruiters will discuss your specific market's pay range and benefits.
