Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach and telemarketing campaigns
- Conduct thorough analysis of clients' health coverage needs to recommend suitable insurance plans
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums to secure optimal benefits for clients while aligning with company guidelines
- Manage sales administration tasks such as documentation, follow-up, and benefits administration records
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details, and assisting with claims processes
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote insurance products effectively across various channels
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality during all interactions
Requirements
- Have, or be willing to obtain, an Accident & Health or Sickness Agent/Producer license.
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a strong track record of meeting targets
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Strong negotiation skills combined with analysis skills to assess client needs accurately
- Familiarity with sales administration processes and benefits administration procedures
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and customer service best practices within the health insurance industry
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse client populations
