This role is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced technical program manager passionate about driving complex data product initiatives from strategy through execution.
Accountabilities
- Define and manage end-to-end program roadmaps for enterprise data product initiatives, from discovery through production deployment.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans including milestones, dependencies, resourcing, risks, and mitigation strategies across multiple workstreams.
- Lead Agile and Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and quarterly planning across delivery teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, data scientists, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders.
- Track, analyze, and report program performance using KPIs, OKRs, and structured reporting for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Partner with product and domain leaders to define requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics aligned to business outcomes.
- Oversee technical design reviews, architecture discussions, and data modeling practices to ensure scalability and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Serve as the primary liaison between data/analytics teams and business units to ensure alignment and delivery success.
- Maintain comprehensive program documentation including decision logs, governance artifacts, and RACI matrices to ensure transparency and audit readiness.
- Lead organizational change management efforts including communication, training, and adoption strategies for new data products.
- Mentor and guide junior program managers, scrum masters, and technical leads to elevate delivery maturity and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in technical program management, including at least 3 years focused on data product or data platform delivery.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-stream programs in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Strong background in data ecosystems including cloud data warehouses, lakehouse architectures, orchestration tools, and BI platforms.
- Experience working in professional services, financial services, or other regulated industries is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and hands-on experience leading Agile delivery at scale.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with attention to delivery quality and risk management.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred certifications include PMP, PgMP, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience mentoring teams and driving organizational change in data-driven environments.

- Competitive base salary ranging from $117,000 to $158,000 depending on experience, skills, and location.
