Job description

Head of Go-To-Market Recruiting --- Founding Role

📍 NYC (preferred) or Remote US

VC- Backed SaaS & Fintech

This isn't a desk job. It's a founding role.

A fast-growing consulting firm at the intersection of sales advisory, venture-backed startups, and is hiring its first GTM recruiter --- to own the function, build the playbook, and scale a practice around you.

The tech recruiting side is profitable. GTM demand is already there from live clients --- it just needs someone to own it.

What you'll actually do:

  • Own GTM search end-to-end for high-growth B2B SaaS & fintech --- AEs, first sales leaders, CS, RevOps, VP Sales and beyond.
  • Define the GTM proposition, pricing, and model. Be a trusted advisor to founders and CROs, not a CV-flinger. Once the model's proven, build and lead a team.

Who this is for:

  • Agency GTM recruiter: You bill well but you're done fighting legacy systems, pure contingency models, and leaders with no vision beyond stacking headcount. You want to build something, not just run another quarter.
  • Internal / VC talent recruiter: You've built GTM teams at startups or across a portfolio and you're tired of being a passenger to budget cycles. You want agency-level earnings with the strategic seat you've already earned.

What good looks like:

5--10 years in GTM recruiting for tech. Real early-stage startup exposure (Seed--Series C+). High autonomy, high EQ, credible with founders and GTM leaders.

Comp:

Base $100k--$130k + structured commission targeting ~45--50% of billings in total comp once ramped. Practice leadership and P&L ownership as you scale.

Remote-first. High-trust. No pointless KPIs.

If you want to build a GTM practice --- not just fill a role --- let's talk.
