About the firm

A specialist retained executive search firm operating at the top of the GTM leadership market. Single-digit headcount. Eight-figure annual fee revenue. The firm works exclusively on retained mandates for venture and PE-backed B2B SaaS and technology companies --- Series A through pre-IPO --- placing VP to C-suite commercial leaders across sales, marketing, customer success, revenue operations and GTM broadly.

The practice is built on long-term client relationships, repeat mandates, and a deliberate refusal to compete on volume.

The role

The firm is looking for a senior search professional to take on a Partner-level seat and own GTM leadership mandates end-to-end.

You will originate and lead retained searches across the full search lifecycle --- from client pitch through candidate placement. You will manage senior client relationships directly, acting as a genuine strategic advisor to founders, CEOs, CROs and institutional investors. There are no management layers between you and the work, and no bureaucracy between you and the client.

You will also contribute to the firm's continued growth --- expanding your network, shaping how mandates are won, and helping define what the next chapter of the practice looks like.

The candidate

This role is designed for a senior GTM recruiter operating --- or ready to operate --- at the retained end of the market.

You may already be in executive search. Or you may be a high-performing contingency recruiter with a strong billings track record and the client relationships to support a move into retained. What matters is the quality of your work, the depth of your network, and the seriousness with which you approach the craft.

The right person brings:

  • 5+ years recruiting GTM talent within B2B SaaS or technology
  • A demonstrable billings track record with repeat client relationships
  • Credibility with founders, CROs and institutional investors
  • A consultative, relationship-first approach to search
  • Low ego, high standards, and a genuinely hands-on working style

Retained search experience is an advantage. It is not a prerequisite for the right candidate.

Compensation and structure

A true Partner seat with meaningful economics --- not a platform rebuild. Compensation is performance-driven and tied directly to billings, with real upside for strong performers. The firm offers an established brand, a defined niche, and a client base built on trust and tenure.
