Job description

About the Role

This is an initial 12-month contract position, fully remote within the United States. Please note that this role requires you to be a W2 employee; C2C arrangements are not permitted.

We are seeking a senior-level candidate with a strong background in healthcare. The ideal individual will possess at least 8 years of experience and be capable of taking ownership and driving projects forward independently after an initial onboarding and support period. This role requires someone who can navigate ambiguity and proactively move work forward with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

This is a functional Business Analyst role, focusing on business requirements and objectives rather than technical specifications. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Enterprise-wide Requirement Gathering: This is the most critical skill for this position.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience working with a large group of stakeholders (approximately 15-20 individuals).
  • Healthcare Domain Expertise: Proven experience and knowledge within the healthcare industry.

Scope and Business Requirements

This role is purely business-focused. We need an experienced professional who can:

  • Deeply analyze and document business requirements effectively.
  • Elicit requirements from various business stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough stakeholder analysis to ensure comprehensive requirement identification.
  • Clearly communicate and hand off requirements to IT and UAT teams, including explanations and discussions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise-wide requirement gathering.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large stakeholder groups.
  • Strong healthcare industry knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity.
