Able to commit to weekly mandatory meetings (PST):
- Mon & Friday @10am - 90 minute Company-wide
- Mon - 60 minute Team Standup
- Wed @11:30am - 90 minute Leadership Sync
- Fri @9:30am - 30 minute EOW Leadership
- Attend and Conduct weekly 30 minute coaching sessions
Role Description
This is a part-time, fully remote IT Leadership Development Intern role based in the United States. The intern will support the operations and technology department by coordinating IT initiatives, supporting system execution, and helping develop scalable technical strategies that support PROJXON's consulting services.
Day-to-day activities include coordinating digital infrastructure projects, managing technical planning schedules, and assisting with the analysis of system performance and security. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT initiatives align with organizational goals and support brand positioning through seamless technical delivery.
The role also includes supporting the development of technical frameworks, documenting IT strategies, and helping implement systems that improve operational workflow and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of IT interns and specialists, overseeing daily tasks, troubleshooting bottlenecks, and ensuring project alignment.
- Manage and improve the company's cloud-based environment (AWS/Azure/Google Workspace) to support remote consulting operations.
- Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols to protect company and client data, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies that drive business efficiency and client value.
- Oversee the lifecycle of internal SaaS tools, managing integrations, permissions, and regular system audits.
- Provide technical insights for client-facing projects, helping to design digital solutions that combat chaos for Projxon's high-impact partners.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity (academic projects, clubs, or previous internships).
- Some understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/Azure), Network Security, and SaaS management.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues while maintaining a "big-picture" strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Familiar with project management tools (Asana, ClickUp, or Jira).
- Knowledge of automation tools to streamline business workflows.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (SOC2, GDPR, or HIPAA).
- Experience in digital transformation or IT consulting.
