We're partnering with a top-performing logistics organization looking to add a high-impact Business Development Manager to their growing team. This role is built for true hunters—sales professionals who know how to generate revenue, build pipelines from scratch, and make an immediate impact.

About the Role

This is a fully remote position focused on new business development within domestic freight & logistics. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships, and driving consistent revenue growth.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Prospect heavily through cold outreach to identify decision-makers and uncover freight needs
  • Set and run meetings (virtual and in-person) with prospective clients
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Track activity and performance metrics to optimize your sales approach
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity to sharpen your pitch

What We're Looking For

  • 5 years of experience in logistics sales
  • Strong background in 3PL, Non-Asset, and FTL
  • Proven track record of closing deals and generating new business
  • Hunter mentality — we want real sellers who can deliver immediate impact

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to analyze sales performance and adjust strategies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools

Preferred Experience

  • FTL expertise (Dry Van, Flatbed)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $70K -- $90K
  • Uncapped Commission (strong earning potential)
