Qualifications
- 3+ years of grocery, supermarket, retail, or food retail recruiting experience preferred
- Proven ability to source and place grocery and retail professionals
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Daily Responsibilities
- Source, identify, and recruit qualified candidates for grocery store and retail positions.
- Review and evaluate resumes to identify top talent for store management, department leadership, and hourly positions.
- Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to assess experience, skills, and cultural fit.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and clients.
- Evaluate candidates' leadership abilities, customer service skills, and operational expertise.
- Negotiate compensation packages and facilitate offer acceptance.
- Conduct reference and employment verification checks.
- Manage multiple open positions while maintaining a strong candidate pipeline.
- Develop and execute recruitment marketing strategies through job boards, social media, networking events, and industry referrals.
- Build lasting relationships with grocery and retail professionals and hiring organizations.
