Position Overview

The Staff Pad is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Recruiter to support our recruiting team. This is an opportunity designed for individuals who are eager to build a career in recruiting and talent acquisition.

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and qualifying candidates across a variety of positions. You will play a critical role in building candidate pipelines and ensuring that only well-qualified candidates are presented to our clients.

This position offers hands-on training, structured development, and a clear path to a full-cycle recruiting role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and identify candidates using job boards, social media, and other sourcing tools
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and overall fit
  • Evaluate candidates against job requirements and determine alignment for submission
  • Present qualified candidates with clear, concise, and professional summaries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Coordinate interviews and support communication between candidates and recruiters
  • Proactively follow up with candidates throughout the recruiting process
  • Stay informed on market trends, talent availability, and competitive hiring activity
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing development initiatives

Qualifications

  • 2 years of similar professional experience
  • Strong interest in recruiting, sales, or talent acquisition
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
  • Comfortable working with technology, recruiting tools, and people

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with sourcing platforms
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or CRM tools
  • Previous experience in client facing, sales, or administrative roles
